Gordon Warnke is chair of Dewey & LeBoeuf's Tax Department and a member of its Executive Committee. Mr. Warnke's primary areas of practice include federal income taxation of domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and other divestitures. His practice also encompasses financial products and tax controversy work.

Mr. Warnke has been recognized by Chambers, Legal 500 and other publications as among the leading individuals in tax in the United States. He is a frequent speaker on federal income tax topics and has authored a number of articles and reports on various tax issues.
