Partners Jane Ross and Keith Flaum Honored with a 2012 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Award

(NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – February 15, 2012) – Keith Flaum and Jane Ross, both partners in the firm’s Merger and Acquisitions Practice Group, were selected as recipients of the 16th annual California Lawyer Attorney of Year (CLAY) Award.

The award recognizes attorneys across California whose achievements have made a profound impact on the law.

Jane and Keith were noted for their work on the $2.4 billion acquisition of online services company GSI Commerce by eBay, one of the year’s ten biggest transactions led by California lawyers. The acquisition involved the divestiture of all of GSI’s sports merchandising business and 70 percent of its retail sites and their sale to GSI’s founder/CEO with $475 million financing from eBay.

The 56 recipients of the 2012 CLAY Award include government lawyers, sole practitioners, and attorneys from international law firms. The honorees will be featured in the March 2012 issue of California Lawyer.
