Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf Tops Table of Latin American Structured Finance Transactions for Sixth Year

This week, the industry publication Asset Securitization Report published its annual table of Latin American structured finance transactions executed in the international markets and the law firms who worked on them. As has been the case for each of the six years since that publication began publishing this table, Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf finished first in representations of issuers or initial purchasers (underwriters or, in the case of private placements, investors). The Structured Finance Group worked on nine out of the 11 such transactions in 2008 (and 15 out of 19 such transactions in 2007), helping Latin American issuers raise $2.4 billion in 2008. The New York-based teams were led by Partner Emil Arca and included Counsel Russell Slanover and Associate Renato Matos.
