Our Diversity Committee

Our Diversity Committee has been the cornerstone of the success of our diversity efforts. The Committee has an Executive Committee Diversity Advisory Board, comprised of three members of the Executive Committee and the Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office. Together, they oversees the three subcommittees of the Diversity Committee and one taskforce:

Retention (comprised of Mentoring and Career Development working groups)
Business Development and Outreach (includes Resources Network Advisory Group)
Retention Taskforce

Each subcommittee, working group or taskforce has lawyers who serve as co-chairs and comprise an overarching Executive Council. The Executive Council works jointly with the Executive Committee Diversity Advisory Board to shape and implement the firm’s diversity efforts. The organization of the Diversity Committee has proven to be effective in motivating senior leaders, associates and staff to develop and implement programs that support the firm’s diversity goals. These initiatives have been integral in helping to enhance our efforts to recruit, retain and advance a diverse workforce while stimulating a culture of respect and inclusion at the firm.
