Global Construction

Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf is one of a few major global firms with extensive experience in construction law. We understand our clients’ businesses and have extensive experience in all aspects of major construction projects. Our practical, hands-on understanding of design and construction is one of our core strengths.

We take a comprehensive approach to the entire range of issues arising in the construction process. For example, on a traditional construction project, we work with clients to structure contracts involving the owner/developer, the architect or engineer, professional consultants, the owner’s representative, construction managers and contractors for all phases of a project – pre-construction, construction, commissioning and close-out. We also prepare and negotiate other project-related documents, including supply contracts and operation and maintenance contracts.

Clients from around the world and in all major industry sectors regularly call upon us for advice on complex construction projects. Our clients include project participants of all kinds, including property owners and developers, property managers, utilities, transportation companies, project financiers, lessees, contractors, consultants, sponsors, insurers and lenders. They include privately owned companies, government entities, utilities, non-profit entities and financial institutions.

A Multi-Disciplinary Team

The Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf construction team is comprised of lawyers from our real estate, project finance, energy, litigation, environmental, finance and tax departments around the globe.
