Intellectual Property Litigation

Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf’s Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Group develops winning IP strategies on behalf of multinational corporations and other companies at the forefront of technology. Our team of litigators offers a unique combination of strong technology backgrounds, advanced scientific degrees and extensive courtroom experiences enabling us to present clear and compelling cases and achieve favorable results.

Our IP Litigation Group is dedicated to helping our clients build, utilize, and protect a broad portfolio of intellectual property and innovative products. We leverage our education and professional experiences in engineering, physics, as well as chemical- and biotechnology-related fields to better represent our clients in all stages of litigation. Our specialties include patent, trade secret, copyright and trademark litigation matters for both rights holders and accused infringers. However, our aggressive policing efforts frequently result in favorable agreements without the need for litigation.

Our firm has conducted and advised on some of the world’s largest and most complex IP litigation. We have successfully appeared in international, federal and state courts in multiple jurisdictions, including virtually every U.S. District Court, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. We have also litigated extensively before the U.S. International Trade Commission, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement litigation.

Our litigators have been recognized for many complex intellectual property and technology litigation achievements, including a recent successful U.S. Supreme Court appeal, several preliminary injunctions and resulting verdicts and settlements in excess of $100 million.
