Jane Ross

Jane Ross is a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. She has represented acquirers and targets in numerous acquisitions of both public and private companies, including both the acquisition and sale of Skype by eBay, the acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe, Brocade Communications Systems’ acquisition of Foundry Networks, the Sirenza Microdevices acquisition by RF Micro Devices, and Onyx Pharmaceuticals’ acquisition of Proteolix. Ms. Ross also has extensive experience handling cross-border transactions and complex cross-border joint ventures, including eBay’s acquisition of Gmarket in Korea, Siebel Systems’ acquisition of Janna Systems in Canada, eBay’s acquisition of Shopping.com in Israel and the sale of Sanyo’s semiconductor business to ON Semiconductor.

Ms. Ross was recognized in Legal 500 in the field of Mergers, Acquisitions and Buyouts as being “a wonderful M&A lawyer” who is “a pragmatic straight-shooter, cost effective and driven to achieve great results for her clients.” In 2011, Jane was recognized as one of the Daily Journal‘s  Top 100 Women Lawyers in California.

Before joining Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf, Ms. Ross was a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at a major Silicon Valley law firm. Prior to that, she practiced in the areas of corporate and securities law at a major Canadian law firm.
