Jocelyn Cara Bramble

Jocelyn Bramble is a partner in Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf’s Washington, DC office. Ms. Bramble has broad based experience in a range of civil litigation matters including complex class actions and insurance matters. She represents corporate and individual clients in SEC and DOJ investigations and companion litigation including ERISA suits and derivative actions. Ms. Bramble also counsels clients on corporate governance disputes and best practices. Ms. Bramble recently spent six months working with members of Allstate Insurance Company’s corporate litigation department on a wide array of insurance litigation matters.

  • In re Royal/Dutch Shell Reserves Recategorization Civil Litigation—multiple government investigations, civil class actions and companion ERISA suits arising out of the company’s restatement of its proved reserves
  • JP Morgan V. Gary Winnick, et. al.—civil action arising out of alleged misrepresentations made by Global Crossing, Ltd. (and its directors and officers) in connection with various credit and financing agreements with J.P. Morgan

Representative Pro Bono Matters

  • Martinez, et. al. v. Padilla, et. al.—civil litigation arising out of a corporate governance dispute regarding which body constituted the lawful board of the nation’s oldest non-profit Latina organization, MANA–A Latina Organization
  • Morales-Riojas v. Martinez, et. al.—civil litigation arising out of defamation claims brought against current and former board members and volunteers of a non-profit organization
  • U.S. v. Williamspro bono murder representation in the District of Columbia Superior Court that led to complete acquittal
