Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf is one of the largest and most experienced international law firms in Moscow. Established in 1990, the group is headed by partners who have devoted their professional careers to practice in the region and are fluent in Russian, as well as English. Most of our associates and legal assistants based in Russia are native to the region. We also have a number of expatriate associates who provide the foreign-law and native-English-drafting capabilities that are a necessary basis for our work.

Our Corporate Group has a very significant mergers and acquisitions practice, and has served as primary outside counsel on some of the largest transactions completed in the region. We advise multinational and regional clients in corporate finance, securities issuances and in structuring, negotiating, documenting and financing mergers, strategic alliances, acquisitions and dispositions of companies and assets. We also have an experienced general corporate practice.

Our Energy Group represents clients engaged in oil, gas, oilfield-service and other energy matters, including upstream, midstream and downstream transactions. This includes mergers, acquisitions and divestitures of oil companies, farm-ins, farm-outs, consortia and joint ventures involving energy properties and facilities, along with financing transactions and regulatory proceedings.

Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf’s lawyers regularly advise on project finance, insurance, leasing, regulatory matters, tax, intellectual property and piracy and competition law matters, litigation, arbitration and related issues under Russian and foreign civil and commercial laws.
