Professional Development

In addition to challenging client assignments, Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf affords its lawyers opportunities to develop professionally and to set and achieve their career goals through formal and informal training and mentoring, through secondments, through pro bono work and through regular evaluations. In terms of ‘formal’ training, Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf University (DLU) offers a comprehensive and integrated seminar programme addressing both English and US law. To this end, Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf lawyers invest hundreds of hours every year in developing and attending internal training courses.  DLU is about more than earning CPD hours: for our trainees, it builds on the foundations they have learned during the LPC: for our more experienced lawyers, DLU provides focused training covering our key practice areas in depth.

The firm also has a London Associate Relations Committee, known as the ARC, which provides a forum for associate and trainee representatives to meet regularly with partners to discuss issues affecting day-to-day life at the firm.
