Project Finance and Infrastructure

Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf’s Project Finance and Infrastructure Group includes more than 85 lawyers from a network of 26 global offices in 15 countries. For more than seven decades, we have represented commercial banks, bilateral and multilateral financial institutions, project sponsors, infrastructure funds and other equity investors, utilities, financial advisors, underwriters, contractors and governments in the development, financing, construction, operation and acquisition of a wide range of capital intensive projects and facilities throughout the world.

These projects and facilities have included power plants, transmission lines, oil and gas fields, liquefied natural gas liquefaction and re-gasification facilities, refineries, petrochemical plants, steel mills, mining facilities, ethanol and biodiesel plants, telecommunication networks, airports, ports, toll roads, water supply and wastewater systems, hazardous waste facilities, social infrastructure, industrial plants and other infrastructure projects.

Our Project Finance and Infrastructure Group is widely acknowledged as one of the leading finance and infrastructure practices and has played a key role in a host of transactions that have received “deal of the year awards” or similar recognition. Over the years, we have structured and closed some of the most innovative transactions across North America, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and the CIS.

The Project Finance and Infrastructure Group is supported by the firm’s considerable experience in its energy, tax, capital markets, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, bankruptcy, environmental, regulatory, competition and international trade practice areas.
