Richard Climan Named Vice Chair and Incoming Chair of the Securities Regulation Institute

(Silicon Valley, November 5, 2010) – Silicon Valley Partner Richard Climan has recently been appointed Vice Chair and incoming Chair of the Annual Securities Regulation Institute. The Institute, in its 38th year, is widely considered to be one of the top programs of its kind in the nation.

Mr. Climan will Chair the Institute for three years beginning in 2012, following in the footsteps of such luminaries as Harvey Pitt (former SEC Chairman), David Ruder (former SEC Chairman), John White (former Director of the SEC Division of Corporation Finance) and Ed Greene (former SEC General Counsel and former Director of the SEC Division of Corporation Finance).

In addition to his role as Vice Chair at the 2011 Institute, to be held January 19-21 in Coronado, California, Mr. Climan will Chair the panel entitled, “M&A Trends and Developments.” The prestigious panel of speakers includes, among others, Vice Chancellor Leo Strine of the Delaware Court Chancery.
