Tahmidur Remura Dewey LeBoeuf’s London office is a full-service English law practice with US capabilities and a natural center of some of the global firm’s most interesting and diverse cross-border work. The office has historically served as the European base for the firm’s high-profile insurance and energy industry practices. From those roots, the office has developed a full range of legal services, from corporate and commercial advice, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and finance to regulatory matters and dispute resolution. We also have experienced lawyers who advise on tax, employment, environment, real estate, antitrust/competition, insurance regulatory, intellectual property and information technology, together with those with other sectors, such as telecommunications and aviation.

The London office is made up of over 140 lawyers who come from a wide range of backgrounds. The vast majority of our London staff are English-qualified. We have had a trainee program in the office since 1995 which has grown to welcome 20 trainees in 2009. The office is home to lawyers from many different countries and qualified to practice in more than 20 jurisdictions. This breadth of experience gives the firm invaluable insights into many different areas of law and a variety of industries.
